A nameless, anonymous person (who will not be named) sent me this cartoon, something that (as I hear it) was never published (Lester put it on his Facebook wall).
It’s easy to see why. Is there anything more despicable than bringing in Obama’s children to score a cheap shot? And yes, it is a cheap shot. When you raise the idea of juveniles having sex just to try to embarrass the President, then you forever cast yourself as a mud-wallowing troll. I really wish I could think of something stronger to say there, because THEY ARE CHILDREN, YOU ASSHAT! Malia Obama is 13, and you’re inferring she’s having sex.
What is wrong with you, Mike Lester? How disturbed are you?
It’s been bad enough seeing people slog Michelle Obama for daring to suggest that child obesity might be a bad thing. It’s virtually unprecedented, attacking the First Lady for having a pet cause, and one that’s not controversial in the eyes of any rational, mature human being. The First Lady does not run for office, she is not a public figure by her own choice or actions. She is not a valid target. Ever.
And to bring their children into this? That is beyond the pale. That is pathetic. That is unacceptable. (And don’t bother pointing out any jokes made about Jenna Bush, as if ‘Liberals did this, so conservatives should be allowed to do this’ is a valid argument; jokes about Jenna were also wrong, even if she is an adult)
