The gay man’s reaction might seem a bit harsh, but Chuck Asay invites you to see it through the lens of victim-blaming. Picture instead a woman being saved mid-rape, and then in the third panel being kindly admonished to “go and dress like a slut who was asking for it no more.” How the hell else would anyone react?
