I like how the uusual gang of idiots are calling it unconstitutional when they have a document available explainning why it IS constitutional.
It’s because it’s a tax, by the way. I’m not going to act like I’m a constitutional scholar, partly because I’m not American, partly because the system is kinda hindered by the regressive clinging to old framework. But within the framework of the US constitution, ACA is legal.
Funny thing, the ones who are slacking on their reading are the Conservative Justices. Scalia admitted that he had no intention to read ACA.
And nice Ad Hominem there, Chucky. Yep, those liberals sure are a bunch of pot-smoking good for nothings.

Weeping liberty, true believers! Obamacare is an attack on our freedoms and will shred everything the Founding Fathers fought for! I know this because Michael Ramirez has said the same thing three fucking times in the space of one fucking week.

Anyway, ACA has been a success, in that it has radically increased the amount of people in the US within the reach of preventive care. It is on the way to eliminate the unfair gender gap in health insurance costs, and it’s no more uncostitutional than requiring auto insurance.

Again, if you’re not even going to try, why are you drawing editorial cartoons?
And of course, let’s not forget that claims of Obamacare’s unconstitutional status are questionable, and based only on the fundamentalist view that anything that isn’t directly mentioned by name in the constitution (and the person talking doesn’t like) isn’t constitutional.
And also, I find it very rich when people say new developments sully the words “We the People”, when at the time the constitution was written only white, male landowners could vote.
Oh no, Obama did… something that violates the Constitution. No other president has done that before.

Provo, Utah (CBSDC) – Jon McNaughton, a controversial artist who often mixes religion and politics in his work, has released a new painting.
In “One Nation Under Socialism,” President Obama holds the U.S. Constitution as it burns.
While McNaughton previously depicted Obama stepping on the nation’s founding document, “One Nation Under Socialism” glowers directly as if challenging the viewer. His right hand is holding the Constitution and his left hand is pointing to the flames.

Now, I won’t question that assassinating without trial is not a right thing to do.
But Obama and Holder being to blame? Fucking hell, where were you idiots when the PATRIOT Act was passed? Or were you scared to criticize the administration when it was “unpatriotic” to do so?
I’m going to avoid any high-minded dialogue or criticism here and just say outright that I have not a shred of sympathy for Catholic priests in general, let alone for this supposed violation of their faith. The Catholic abuse scandal - the decades-long covering up of rampant molestation by countless men wrapping themselves in the veneer of moral righteousness - has forever tainted whatever respectability the institution may have had, from John Ratzinger (who personally helped in the cover-up) on down. I don’t weep for any Catholics playing the martyr-card at the thought of having to provide contraception to their employees.
And fact check: the number of Catholics who have never used contraception is in the single digits. The official proclamations of the Catholic church have had little to no influence on the vast majority of Catholics. So if you want to show a priest being trampled by the masses, make the crowd a bunch of Catholics who don’t care one whit about what some celibate old men in robes have to say about sex.
I know I keep harping on this, but how exactly does the religious freedom of the catholics override the freedom from religion of those who work for Catholics? Ah fuck it, one side of the debate is Christians, so they must be right in the Conservative’s eyes.
