Variance in sexual orientation is a inbuilt tendency in human behaviour. A certain percentage of homosexuals, bisexual, transgender, and other variants are born in every generation.

The higher acceptance of same sex relationships has more to do with people realizing that it’s not cool to kick some people just because they’re a minority.

Gas Prices were last this high towards the end of Bush presidency, Bush plays golf and smokes cigars. And the last two are compeltely irrelevant to the precidency. They are personal attacks that have nothing to do with policy.

As for unemployment:

The unemployment started growing towards the middle of 2008, when Obama was still a candidate. It was linked to the larger recession, which, again, started in ‘08, and has its roots in fiscal policy since the 1980’s. Even further back, if you think about the US housing market, which was made artificially bigger than in other industrial countries, as a part of a certain American attitude towards private property. And as you can see, the graph is on a slight downward turn. Meanwhile in UK, the recession is re-entering terminal phase, as the article I linked noted. In the UK, they cut spending, and generally did as the GOP wanted to.

So, Panetta said the UN trumps the congress. Some see this as proof of New World Order takeover, some, like McCoy here see it as treason.

I just see it as reasonable. The UN has made international laws, that give a fair, equal protection to all people, in a pragmatic and just way. US laws are a mixed bag of old ideas of justice, kept together by duct tape and refusal to change. I think it is, for example, very reasonable to say taht the UN Declaration of the rights of Children overrides some US state’s desire to execute a minor. I say it’s a good thing if ILO 169 overrode the US government’s broken prommises to the Native Americans.

Also, as a flag nerd, I do recognize which flags are flying; Uruguay, Tanzania, Unnited Arab Emirates, Ukraine, and Turkey. Raises the question, did UN hoist those flags just out of alhabetical order, or did McCoy draw them that way?
